Syrian Journal for Science and Innovation:

A quarterly, multidisciplinary, online, paid, open-access, refereed electronic journal that publishes distinguished and influential research papers of importance in various scientific fields (health, energy, environment, technology, economics, cultural and social sciences, ...), in addition to opinion articles and scientific analyses for recently published research and books, and prospective visions for science and its development in various fields, and highlights the most important innovations and recent patents, both locally and globally.

The language of the journal is Arabic or English, with priority for publishing in English, especially for medical and engineering specialties, to increase opportunities for promotion and accessibility to research articles. Researchers must adhere to linguistic rules to achieve clarity and precision in language.

Why publishing in the Syrian Journal for Science and Innovation?

The Syrian Journal for Science and Innovation, published by the Higher Commission for Scientific Research, is:

A diversified interdisciplinary journal, that gives the authors an opportunity through which a large audience of readers becomes acquainted with their scientific and research outputs.

It includes articles of opinions, perspectives, and comments on the most important developments in the fields of science and innovation, locally and globally.

The journal has an editorial board of researchers and experts, well-known for their research achievements.

It aims to disseminate the latest information and data to a wide audience of academic readers, economists, businessmen, and decision-makers, this gives the published research quick access to beneficiaries.

It follows a rigorous publishing policy that adheres to the criteria of transparency, integrity, and ethics for scientific research.

The time for reviewing and acceptance or rejection of publication does not exceed three months.

Submit research:
1- Manuscripts are delivered to the Manuscripts Department on the website on the
link, in Word and PDF format, and the status of manuscript delivery can be
tracked on the website itself.
2- The author must abide by the editorial policy before submitting any research
paper or article, and these policies indicate the rights and duties that the
author(s) will agree to upon submitting and publishing their papers.
3- The author(s) must have an account in the journal to log in. If you don't have an
account, you can create a new account here or from the main page. Once you
have an account, you can submit any article to the journal and you will have a
record of article tracking information.
4- All manuscripts must include, in addition to the information contained in the
content of the research paper:
- Cover letter: in which the author explains the purpose of the study,
and the reason why his/her study is important to the reader.
- Biography of the author(s): (name - title - education- work place -
email - phone number - country – city - work experience)
- Contributions of the author/s: current and previous research,
certificates and awards obtained, and his/her achievements in the field
he is concerned about and related to the topic of research and
specialization.
- A pledge that the manuscript (or any part of it) has not been
previously published, and is not under publication or study in another
journal.
- A pledge that all the authors approved the content of the manuscript
and agreed to hand it over to the journal for publishing.

After receiving the research paper:
The editorial board decides whether the manuscript will be sent to the reviewers or not.
The manuscript is delivered to an editor specialized in the same field, who makes his
initial opinion. The criteria for sending the manuscript to the reviewers are that the
results of the paper are new, surprising and worthy of shedding light on it, and it has
direct and far effects, as well as the ease of reading the material by non-specialists.
The editor-in-chief determines the specialized reviewers that will evaluate the paper.
The paper will be sent anonymously at least to two reviewers.
